President of Apex-Brazil participates in event for Chinese investors and he foresees Brazil among the five larger economies in the world 
  
On a side, emerging markets receiving direct investments more and more and also investing in the outside. Of other, a fall, in the last decade, about 10% in the attraction of investments for the European countries. Presenting that scenery, during Global China Business Meeting, in Lisbon, the president of the Brazilian Agency of Promotion of Exports and Investments (Apex-Brazil), Alessandro Teixeira, foresaw that Brazil, China and India will be among the five larger savings of the world in a no remote future. 
 
“The World Association of Agencies of Promotion of Investments foresaw a fall of 30% in the direct foreign investments in 2009. Even so, in 2008, China received US$ 90 billion in entrances of that kind and Brazil US$ 45 billion. The most interesting is that the two countries are also investing in the exterior. In the Brazilian case, they were US$ 18 billion applied out of the country”, said the president of Apex-Brazil. 
 
Teixeira also reminded the participants that, in 2000, Latin America received only 7% of the direct foreign investments of the world. In 2009, the forecast is that the index is of 11%. 
 
The event, that happened on November 10, gathered about 400 entrepreneurs and directors of companies Chinese interested parties in beginning operations in the exterior. Political leaders of several countries also participated in the discussions on the world economical panorama, the international investments, the human resources, the relationships of China with the countries that speak portuguese language and on the Chinese products. 
 
At the end of the event, Brazil was chosen to receive the next edition of Global China Business Meeting, that will happen in Rio de Janeiro, in 2010. 
 
Apex-Brazil and China 
 
The Chinese direct investments reached US$ 56 billion in 2008. In search of attracting part of that value, Apex-Brazil it accomplishes several actions jointly to China. The next will be the Brasil-China of Trade and Investments Forum, in São Paulo, in November 26 and 27, in São Paulo. The event will have the participation of more than 300  Chinese entrepreneurs interested parties in investing in the sections of energy, monaufacturing industry and infrastructure. 
 
To Apex-Brazil, through the Unit of Commercial Intelligence elaborated one serializes of studies on the Chinese market.  Among the most important are: the “Study of Opportunities for Brazilian Products and Services in China”, the “Fashion Strategic Study in Asia”, and the “52 Chinese Cities Regional Profile”, that help Brazilian entrepreneurs begin their activities in the Chinese market.
