Food: Iraq wants to buy more products of Brazil

In visit to Brazil, the Iraquian minister of the Trade, Abdul Falah Al Sudani said that his country should enlarge the purchase of foods of Brazil. He met in Sao Paulo with the Brazilian minister of the Development, Industry and Trade Miguel Jorge, with whom discussed the bilateral trade between Brazil and Iraq. The Iraquian minister affirmed that his country distributes 8 million tons of foods/year.
He said that the sale of Brazilian products to Iraq added US$ 150 million of January to April of this year and that his country wants to include Brazilian vehicles in this line.
Tomorrow (06/16), Abdul Falah Al Sudani has encounter as the minister of the External Relationships Celso Amorim, when it should inform that the Iraquian Congress will name the ambassador of Iraq soon in Brasília. Besides, he will ask for Amorim so that the Brazilian mission that will visit Middle East, still in 2008, also visit Iraq.
