Brazil exports milk for more than 100 countries

Brazil will export, until the end of 2008, about one billion liters of milk for more than 100 countries, with revenue of US$ 550 million.
The information was published by the analyst of the National Company of Provisioning (Conab) Maria Helena Fagundes. She believes that the Country will consolidate as one of the largest world exporters of milky products as New Zealand, Australia and countries of Europe.
The main buyers of the Brazilian milk are the African continent and countries of Latin America. On this year were exported 226, 8 million liters of milk. The balance of the sector is approximately 128,8 million liters.
