Bosch presents clean technologies for diesel engine in Ecogerma 2009
03/10/2009
World leader in development and production of injection systems for diesel engine, Robert Bosch offers “clean technologies” for the segment of commercial vehicles. Inside of this concept, during Ecogerma 2009 - Fair and Congress of Maintainable Technologies, the company will present in his stand the DG Flex, Common Rail and Denoxtronic systems.
DG Flex, system bi-fuel, allows that heavy vehicles (bus and trucks), equipped with diesel engine, also operate with Transport Natural gas (TNG). DG Flex use provides a reduction of up to 75% of particles - main pollutant agent found in the bus and trucks ways of the great cities.
Denoxtronic is a regulates system that acts with the SCR catalysts (Selective Catalytic Reducer) of the commercial vehicles, reducing in up to 85% the level of emissions of NOx in up to 40% the particles levels. Another benefit is the reduction about 5% of the consumption of fuel of the vehicle.
Another technology Bosch for the commercial vehicles that it will be in exhibition in Ecogerma, is the Common Rail, a system of injection of fuel that is characterized by allowing high injection pressures, available in practically whole range of rotation of the engine. As result, that technology assures to the motor an exceptional performnce, with low consumption of fuel and minor index of pollutant emissions.
For the development of those and other technologies that come to the encounter of the norms of the Program of Control of the Air Pollution, Bosch has your Center of Diesel Technology, located in Curitiba-PR.
