Perseverance, dedication, technology. Factors that guaranteed the success of coffee grower Afonso Mattos. The production of the farming located in Minas Gerais began to be exported to the United States in 2002.  
  
The conquest of varied quality tournaments stamped Cafe Brauna's passport to the international market. Now they are produced from four to five thousand bags of coffee a year. 30% are exported. “The export enlarges the various options that are going from the financing to the profitability. Size doesn't exist for you to export, but it is necessary to take everything with seriousness, because there is no a second chance if you wander”, it alerts Mattos. 
 
Banana - it has been three years that the Companhia das Frutas, located in the north of Minas, exports siver banana. In July of the last year, the 20 producers that integrate the company made the production to fruit salad. For being the only banana that doesn't darken in the mixture with other fruits, the species has the preference, mainly of english consumers.  
 
600 hectares are cultivated, with production of 330 tons a year. “Today we have the capacity to supply certifies silver banana", announce the producer Dirceu Moreira, president of the Central Association of the North of Minas (AbanNorte).               
 
Lemon - the Association of the Producing of Lemon of Jaíba (Aslim) was created in 2004, especially to export thaiti lemon cultivated in the north of Minas State. The time and the experience acquired increased the sales to the external market for 40% of the total produced by Aslim. “Our expectation this year is of exporting 250 conteiners”,  foresees Randolfo Diniz Rabelo, of the association.
