Marcopolo won auction to supply 143 urban bus for Johannesburg, in South Africa. The vehicles will have chassis Scania and they will be mounted in the manufacturer of trucks in Caxias (RS).   
  
They will have the technical support and after-sale supplied by the plant of Marcopolo in Johannesburg. The deliveries are programmed even June, in date that precedes the Cup Confederations of Soccer Cup, in South Africa. 
 
The buses integrate an efficient project of public transportation of Johannesburg in that vehicles with high capacity of passengers move in exclusive tracks in the main roads of the city. The investments in the sector are accelerated in South Africa in reason of the World cup in 2010.
